There is yet another school of considered that states that Shiva himself created Bhairava. It states that there was as soon as an asura named Dahurāsura, who acquired a boon that he can be killed only by a woman. Parvati took the form of Kali to destroy him. The wrath of Kali killed the asura.

रणेषु चातिघोरेषु महामृत्यु भयेषु च।।

वायव्यां मे कपाली च नित्यं पायात् सुरेश्वरः

संहारभैरवः पातु दिश्यैशान्यां महेश्वरः





जो प्रतिदिन इस बटुक भैरव कवच का अभ्यास करता है, उसे यक्षिणी, अप्सरा और विभिन्न देवी साधनाओं में सफलता मिलती है
